Condolences
I was glad to know your dad, although briefly. He was able to tell me stories about working for my dad at the Woodward Motor Co., when he was a young man. He also was a town cop and stopped me for having my bright lights on, but he just warned me! I didn't know he was on the family tree back then. My dad was Ellwin Darling, son of Harry and Margaret (Carpenter) Darling. George and Dad had ancestors in common--their grandfathers were brothers, so it was fun visiting with him about that. He and Verna attended quite a few ice cream socials at Rippey. I thought I would get to the visitation, but I have come down with flu-like symptons. I would have enjoyed meeting you. Sincerely, Jean Borgeson--Rippey
